Meta unveiled a collection of AI models

Meta stated that this new model can compete with OpenAI and Anthropic in general knowledge, math skills, and language translation. This model has 405 billion parameters, making it one of the largest artificial intelligence models to date!

Meta is powered by more than 16,000 NVIDIA H100 GPUs, which are the fastest chips on the market. The system has passed more than 150 tests and outperformed its competitors. The exact values of the parameters of other systems, such as OpenAI's GPT-4, are not disclosed, but it is known that GPT-4 has about 1.5 trillion parameters. Meta also presented updated versions of other models containing 70 billion and 8 billion parameters, respectively.

Meta's new AI system has a larger contextual window compared to previous systems - 128,000 tokens, which corresponds to about a 50-page book. 

Along with the release of the new AI system, Meta AI, an AI-powered assistant on Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger, has been updated. It can now speak more languages and create stylized selfies.

The Imagine Yourself feature allows you to use a person's photo to modify it. For example, you can take a picture of yourself and make the following request: “Show me doing a drawing”. The service is currently in beta mode in the United States.

New editing features will be added to Meta AI soon. Next month, the “Edit with AI” button will appear to open additional settings!
